These Terms of Use apply when you access or use the Time n Tell app, website, and related services. By using Time n Tell, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Your account
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in information secure. Provide accurate account information and contact us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed your account.
The service
Time n Tell lets you record activities, notes, journal entries, and optional voice transcriptions. You decide what to record and remain responsible for the content you save. Time n Tell is a personal reflection tool and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
AI Access and selected clients
AI Access is an optional, read-only connection for a local client that you choose, such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex CLI, or OpenCode. It can read only your activity categories, start and end times, duration, and activity notes. It cannot read journals, create or change Time n Tell data, or access your account or other API keys. You are responsible for keeping the AI Access key secure and for replacing or revoking it when it is exposed or no longer needed. Do not put keys in prompts, URLs, repositories, issues, screenshots, or support messages.
The client and AI provider you select are third parties operating under their own terms, privacy policies, retention practices, and model-improvement settings. Activity notes may be included in the client's conversations or model input. Time n Tell does not choose, receive, or infer the identity of the client or provider.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you create. You give Time n Tell the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to provide and operate the service for you. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to the limited retention described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You may not use Time n Tell to:
- Break the law or infringe another person’s rights.
- Upload malicious code or interfere with the service or other users.
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
- Abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent service protections, except where applicable law permits it.
App Store license
If you obtain Time n Tell through Apple’s App Store, your license to the app is governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, unless a custom license is presented with the app. These Terms govern your Time n Tell account and use of the related website and service.
Third-party services
Time n Tell relies on third-party providers for authentication, transcription, hosting, and distribution. Their services may be governed by their own terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how providers process information on Time n Tell’s behalf.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We aim to keep Time n Tell available and reliable, but do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Ending use
You may stop using Time n Tell at any time. You can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings by selecting Delete Account Data. Signing out removes local data from a device but does not revoke AI Access; revoke or replace that key in Settings when you want to stop a connected client. We may restrict or end access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, other users, or comply with law, including for a material breach of these terms.
Legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms limits consumer guarantees, privacy rights, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will revise the effective date above when we do. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
